ScheduleRn is one of several ScheduleCore applications available to medical institutions. ScheduleRn is a nurse-specific, web-based staff scheduling application that improves the entire scheduling process. ScheduleRn has several features that distinguish it from other staff scheduling applications on the market.
Skill-based Scheduling
With ScheduleRn, skill-based scheduling is fully automated. This intelligent system accounts for skill levels, preferences and other necessary variables that are critical when assigning the talent required within various units.
Web-Based
ScheduleRn operates in a web environment with the free, Microsoft browser Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher being the only platform required. This allows for immediate use of the system without the purchase of other expensive hardware or software components. ScheduleRn can be accessed remotely from home or almost any other location with Internet access
Vacations, Holidays and Leave Requests
ScheduleRn allows employees to log on, view schedules and make paperless leave requests. Time-consuming administrative tasks related to leave can be handled so that administrative approval is the final, simple check.
Schedule Editing
Changes are often needed in a schedule once it has been generated. With ScheduleRn, rebalancing schedules is easy. The user-friendly editing feature allows for speedy click-and-drop scheduling changes.
Templates
ScheduleRn allows for the inclusion of set shifts and cycles, taking into account unique departmental scheduling needs such as double shifts and preferred consecutive scheduling patterns. Other issues such as training, night/day shifts and weekend rotations can also be easily integrated. ScheduleRn follows established or union rules in creating fairness protocols for undesirable shift assignments.
Patient Level Tracking
ScheduleRn collects census, acuity, type of care and length of patient stay data for use in workload calculations. This automated workload monitoring enables efficient staff allocation for major cost reductions.
Communication Tools
The ScheduleRn workflow and email integration assists in managing sick calls and assigning replacement staff.
Product Integration
ScheduleRn integrates with such business systems as Excel, Access and Crystal Reports, allowing for easy importing and exporting of shared data. Integrations with Kronos, API and Meditech are in progress.
Report Generation
Monitor trends, track productivity and detect patterns quickly with the business intelligence tool already built into ScheduleRn. Current report templates include Staff Planning, Daily Schedule Coverage, and a Staff Utilization Report.
Quick Start Program
The ScheduleRn Quickstart Program is a Five Phase implementation and training program in which we compile and import your data into the system. Upon completing the data import, we begin a comprehensive, web-based training program. The Five Phase program gets you fully operational in as little as two weeks.
Upgrades
We listen to customer feedback and make changes and improvements to ScheduleRn based on user input. All upgrades are installed automatically as part of the ScheduleRn annual subscription service as the software is further improved and expanded. Upgrades will always be free-of-charge to the customer and come standard with the annual subscription.
Pricing
ScheduleRn is offered as a service-based solution. Our clients enjoy affordable annual fees based on staffing levels and schedule licenses. There are no additional upgrade and maintenance fees.
